There are a lot of artworks in the QM we visited last friend,  two of them attracted me most. First one is "Peacock from the sea" and second one is the "Poligono" , both are works of Leo Matiz.
The first piece  is "peacock from the sea". It catches the right moment when the fisher cast the net and the net scatter largest. You can feel if  the fisher still hold the net like that in the picture he gonne fall in the water,it seems the picture is still moving .  Using the 2d static picture to seize the dynamic 3d scene, when  you see the picture you will  feel the net gonne fall and cover you. you goone be the biggest fish this guy will catch .obviously, you are the main dish of the dinner if u don't run away. If you try to run ,please be quiet, don't scare the fish away, the guy in the picture got a family to feed.Leo Matiz
Poligono, 1950 Leo Matiz "poligono"
The second piece is Poligono by Leo Matiz .It actually just repeat the light and shadow, but you will feel the middle darkness is extremely far away from you. It seems like you can walk into this small picture to check out what is in the darkness. I think the darkness represents fear or desire in your mind. Maybe there is a monster or a naked girl in a good shape in the darkness, maybe just some guy forget to pay the electric bill.So what do you think ?
