  1. Sculpture in stone or metal survives far better than works of art in perishable materials.

This artist chose bronze to make this art because bronze is the oldest and still most popular metals for cast metal sculpture; bronze have the unusual and desirable property of expanding slightly just before they set, thus filling the finest details of a mold. Their strength and lack of ductility is an advantage when figures in action are to be created.

  3. Sculpture is the art of making two or three dimensional representative or abstract forms, especially by carving stone or wood or by casting metal or plaster. Sculptures are make of wood, stone, metal, ceramics other materials. Those which are made of wood, stone, metal, ceramics, gold can last many years, but sculptures made of clay, sand, fabric and rubber cannot last longer. Sculptures are worked by stone carving, wood carving, clay modeling and so on. Since there are many types of sculptures, material tools are used differently in each sculpture. Material tools such as chisels, hammers, hand drills, Rasps, sand paper to smooth the surface contours are used to make sculptures. Sculptures often show historical figures as well as figures from myths and stories, but they can also be abstract—shapes and forms that don’t represent a particular object, but instead may represent the artist’s mood or feelings, or an exploration of the use of different forms. We do need to have some knowledge to work in this media. First we have to decide what we want to make sculpture and what materials we would like to use. Next we have to draw outline before we build sculptures. The three artworks and three artists are "David" and "Pieta" by Michelangelo, "The Kiss" by Auguste Rodin and "Sanding Ovations" by Susanne Ruseler.

  5. Sculpture is the art of making two or three dimensional representative or abstract by carving stone or wood or by casting metal or plaster. I thought that every sculpture was three dimensional but there is two dimensional also like relief sculpture, is an artwork raised from a flat surface. Sculpture has a variety of materials like stone, metal, ceramic, wood, since modernism led to an almost complete freedom of material process. I am going to mention three artist of this media; Pablo Picasso, Michelango Buonarroti, Auguste Rodin. They have beautiful pieces of arts like “la grue” by Pablo Picasso, Dying Slave by Michelango Buonarroti, the thinker by Auguste Rodin. In my opinion Sculpture are more valued when it gets older and older. The meaning it will be the same but the way people look at them will be different through time. Artist chose materials to work according the message they want to put in the sculpture. Honestly I want to make a sculpture it will not be that much nice. In my opinion sculpture is even harder than other arts like painting, video.
