Woman With Umbrella
This is a 2D drawing made by Albert Marquet. The drawing is made of just lines and its very simple. Although simple, you can tell its an elegant lady holding an umbrella making it representational. The drawing is symmetrical if it was split in half. I can say the focal point is towards the lady's hat only because there are moving lines placed there implying some sort of design on the hat. There are organic and geometric shapes in the drawing. The lady is holding her hands together creating an implied triangle. I enjoy this drawing because even if it is just lines, I can tell it's a lady even without reading the title.
